Recently Grand Capital in collaboration with a software developer AMTS Solutions launched a new generation ECN Prime account. Now we present our new handy tool for Trading Platform 4 terminal, Depth of Market (DOM). DOM for ECN Prime provides full information on liquidity and its features allow for a single-click trading: now you can configure a trade's settings, open positions and place orders very quickly. Depth of Market operates on Windows 7 or higher and is only available for the instruments that are traded on ECN Prime, except crypto currencies.

AMTS Depth of Market features

• reflecting current liquidity;

• one-click trading. It optimizes the trader's work in situations when the speed is especially important. For example, scalping or pipsing;

• sending market orders as limit orders with limited slippage;

• placing of pending orders;

• setting stop-loss and take-profit values when opening orders on a certain distance in points;

• calculation of a weighted average price (VWAP) for a specific volume;

• closing all open orders and deleting all placed pending orders, including sorting by specific instruments;

• automatically taking DOM liquidity screenshots at the moment when the trade is executed

How to set up AMTS ECN + Depth of Market

1. Download the installation file;

2. Run the installation file;

3. Choose your Grand Capital Trader 4 installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Grand Capital Trader 4. Click "Next";

4. Find the location of the folder with the terminal settings: open the terminal, go to "File" tab and select "Open data folder";

5. Copy the folder location and paste it in the installer's type bar;

6. Restart Trading Platform 4;

7. Allow DOM to run: go to "Service" > "Options" > "Expert Advisors" > "Allow DLL imports";

8. After the configuration of settings AMTS ECN + Depth of Market will appear among your advisors and scripts.

How to add Depth of Market to chart

In order to add AMTS ECN + Depth of Market to a chart, simply drag it to a chart.

In order to remove AMTS ECN + Depth of Market from a chart, simply right-click on a chart and select "Remove script", or go to "Expert Advisors" and click "Remove".

Settings

Before you add DOM, you will be offered to choose different settings. For example, to place the advisor inside the window, choose “true” in the “Is_Docked_Window” section.

"I'm almost 60 and I studied physics. Almost all my life I worked with computing equipment. In 1978 I entered the Institute of Engineering Cybernetics of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences. After that I worked as a maintenance engineer at a factory, optimized mainframe-based computing systems. I started trading 10 years ago. I saw some consulting company's ad on the subway, got interested and came to their lecture. Then I realized that I'm interested in the trading process itself, which means you don't depend on anybody and it's possible to earn a decent income at the same time. When I was only starting, I only traded with "majors". Now I'm getting convinced that trading cross pairs brings more profit. When I choose a broker, like most traders I look at order execution, the absence of requotes, slippage and other technical problems. And, of course, withdrawal options and how fast can you withdraw your profit. Grand Capital never gave me a reason to doubt them. I created an account five or six years ago and started with contests right away. I won this round thanks to my experience and knowledge of CAD/USD trading peculiarities. I won by a small margin. "I graduated from an agricultural university. Once I needed extra income for research and a friend told me about Forex. So I've been trying to master this trade since 2014. It seems like Forex isn't quite popular yet in Algiers, but it's a promising occupation. I learned trading by participating in demo contests. At first my growth was impeded by the absence of actual deposit. I had a hard time controlling my emotions back then and it didn't help either. • GASOLINE — gasoline futures. Contract volume: 42 000 gallons (around 159 cubic meters). Minimum price step: $0.0001 per gallon or $4.20 per contract. Gasoline is a product of crude oil distillation. Gasoline price is subject to seasonal fluctuations, local minimums are reached in December and local maximums are reached in May;

• COPPER — Copper futures. Contract volume is 25 000 pounds (around 11.34 tons). Minimum price step is $0.0005 per pound ($12.5 per contract). Millions of investors follow the copper quotations every day. Copper is the first metal to be worked and used by man. Total world production of copper is about 16 million tons per year;

• Dow Jones — Dow Jones stock index mini futures contract. DJIA (Dow Jones Industrial Average) index is the oldest American market index existing today. It was designed to follow the development of industrial segment of American stock markets. The index comprises 30 major American companies. Although the index is still called "industrial", the large portion of the companies included have nothing to do with heavy industry. The contract size for DJIA is calculated according to the formula: $5 multiplied by the index quote;

• #MSFT (Microsoft Corporation) — one of the largest multinational software companies that produces various kinds of computer equipment: personal computers, video game consoles, PDA, mobile phones, the developer of the most widely distributed software platform in the world, the family of Windows operating systems. As of 2016 the company's revenue is $86.6 billion.

• #PHOSAGRO («ФосАгро») — a Russian chemical holding company. PhosAgro’s core business is the production of mineral fertilizers. The company is the leading phosphate fertilizers producer and its 2016 revenue amounted to 187.74 billion RUB and the net profit to 59.88 billion RUB.
